Swiss franc – is the official currency of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It is subdivided into 100 centimes. The international currency code of the Swiss franc is CHF.

The first Swiss franc existed during the period between 1798–1803.

The Swiss franc takes the fifth place in the currency trading.

Banknotes have nominal values of 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 1000 francs.

Coins are in denominations of  5, 10 and 20 centimes, a half, 1, 2 and 5 francs.
